Abstract
The purpose of this research is to evaluate the math-teaching to teaching probability possessed by teachers in primary education in active knowledge. This purpose becomes important if we consider that the probability has been progressively incorporated into the school curriculum in many countries (NCTM, 1989; NCTM, 2000; CCSSI, 2010, MEC, 2007; Ministry of Education, 2012), representing a real challenge for teachers in service, especially for primary school teachers, most of whom have not received training on the probability and its teaching during their initial training.Keywords
