Abstract
This paper addresses the reintroduction of experimental science teaching strategies in rural areas of the province of Valencia, which took place from the 60s of last century. We have analyzed documents relating to the Rural Education Foundation (1958-1985), an agency of the Province of Valencia chartered to improve education in rural areas of the province of Valencia. The methodology is based on the descriptive analytical method by finding, review and analysis of historical and iconographic sources deposited in the Archive of the Provincial Council of Valencia. The research aims to highlight the scope and significance that the teachers of the Rural Education Foundation had during the educative modernization and Europeanization of the Valencian rural world. Keywords
