What do Diplomatura Maestro of Educación Primaria’s students think about what they had seen in science class during their teaching practice?

Abstract

Reforms take place quite frequently in our educational system. We think it is necessary to have use of information regarding what has happened in each of them, in order to evaluate what the next will provide. In this paper we have taken on the Qualified Teacher qualification (speciality of Primary Teaching). We wanted to find answers to the question: What did future teachers –who were trained in this curriculum– think about the process of teaching and learning of Science during their teaching practice? Results lead us to establish conclusions regarding Science teaching in primary edu­cation and to identify some achievements and weaknesses of the aforementioned qualification.
