The transition hypothesis as a teaching tool for Environmental Education

Abstract

In this article we have sought to conduct a study that focuses on the theoretical and practical features related to the transition hypothesis within the field of environmental education. This approach exposes the evolution followed up to the very concept of transition scenarios, both in the nomenclature used as in the inner meaning of these terms. We will also exemplify the usefulness of this teaching tool to develop its potential use in the field of environmental education within the issue of both energy and water.
