Resumen

The aim of this paper is to identify the perceptions of different groups on the variables influencing the efficiency of the experimental science teacher. The opinions of science teaching researchers, school inspectors and the teachers themselves about the behaviour and suitable characteristics of the experimental science teacher have been gathered.
