Abstract
This paper outlines some of the differences between preconceptual and Aristotelian methodology and relates the origin of preconcepts to the ordinary conception of Science underlying in textbooks and laboratory manuals. A classroom strategy aimed at changing the prevailing methodology and developing a new basis for conceptual reconstruction is put forward.Published
