Teaching and learning Astronomy in High School

Abstract

Since educational research has been pointing to the declining interest in science by the students of all levels. In this paper, the teaching of astronomy arises as a strategy more in the way of teaching science at this unmotivated students. His character of science interdisciplinary interest in the informative and the opportunity to offer their applications try relations CTS, making it the object of study of this and other research. It is provided by the moment, the subject for Science in the contemporary world of 1st course of High School.
