Abstract

The analysis of errors can be considered one of the most powerful tools of explanation. In additions, it is particularly apt within interactive teaching options. However, it is still largely uderutilised, which suggests the opportunity for further exploration of its potentialities. The current work focuses on its application with the purpose of facilitating and enhancing the understanding of basic and general chemistry concepts. The presentation of the approach is substantiated by the discussion of a considerable number of concrete examples.
