Abstract

In the initial training of the teachers, the didactic use of their conceptions constitutes a formative principle vital for building a rigorous professional knowledge of the scholarship contents. This work is involved in the characterisation of the knowledge of the future teachers about a concrete conceptual field with the aim of analysing the relations with the information that will be taught. We present a study on the conceptions of a reduced sample of future teachers about the concept of chemical change. We analyse their knowledge and the concepts which they intend to teach to students of 12-14 years of age.
