The teaching of Biochemistry provides the students of a first course of Medicine with a strict knowledge about the biological basis of the function of the different organs and systems, as well as the cathalytic reactions that happen there. The practica] sessions, on the other hand, by making use of the scientific method, constitute and adequate complement of this discipline. The students get in touch with simple techniques of laboratory, applicable to interesting clinical -medical problems.
