La enseñanza de contenidos científicos mediante una metodología basada en escape room

Resumen

El aprendizaje de contenidos científicos puede generar cierto desinterés en el estudiantado. El empleo de metodologías docentes apropiadas y no desatender la dimensión afectiva pueden ayudar a revertir esta situación. En este estudio se presenta un escape room diseñado con el objeto de trabajar contenidos científicos con docentes en formación. Para comprobar su influencia en las dimensiones afectiva y cognitiva, se han analizado emociones, autoeficacia y actitudes, así como el aprendizaje de las y los participantes antes y después de la intervención en un estudio llevado a cabo durante dos cursos académicos. Los resultados muestran un incremento en las emociones positivas, autoeficacia y actitudes, así como en el aprendizaje de las y los participantes después de la intervención. A la luz de estos resultados, esta intervención tiene efectos positivos en las dimensiones afectiva y cognitiva.
