Resumen

In this article, after discussing basic directions of the so-called genetical didactics, we speak in favour of a type of elementary geometry teaching which can balance strictly formal requirements with psychopedagogical ones. The important contributions which genetical didactics may offer to that teaching, whenever applied in a critical realistic way, are also outlined.
