Abstract

This work shows a model of experiential, non-traditional teaching on the subject chemical senses. It is a didactic experience that promotes the reflection on ideas or previous knowledge which is totally or partially erroneous to transform it into appropriate support concepts. The didactic design of the activities was planned according to the Sustainable Conscious Cognitive Learning Model. The experience that we present refers to the results from the implementation of four three-hour classroom workshops in which 87 teachers, in service and in training, belonging to the areas of biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics of middle school, participated.
