Present status and perspective of nature of science teaching: a review of teachers’ beliefs and obstacles
Abstract
The literature about teachers’ understanding and teaching of nature of science (NOS), which has been published in the last decade, is reviewed. The factors and the strategies that favor NOS understanding as well as the obstacles that interfere its teaching are analyzed. From the current state of art on these issues, a prospective for future is analyzed and discussed.
