Abstract

This article studies the concepts of heat, work, energy and Carnot's theorem in thermodynamics university textbooks for engineering, using analysis of content techniques This study evidences the presence of some cases of explanations and concepts with characteristics that correspond to spontaneous or non-formals conceptions could generate erroneous interpretations in students which starting a thermodynamics course
