Some factors that influence students' succes in solving problems
Abstract
Problem solving in science teaching is an aid for understandign concepts and makes them more significant with concrete examples. We use problem solving to analyze some characteristics of students when they transfer a model for the study of chemical reactions in aqueous solutions to the study of these reactions in other solvents (Analytical Chemistry). We assess some factors improving teaching and cooperative learning. On the base of these contributions, some implications for teaching in science education are pointed out. Keywords
