Aprendizaje activo de la cinemática lineal y su representación gráfica en la escuela secundaria
Abstract
In this paper we report an experience of aplicación of active learning methodologies for the teaching of linear kinematic concepts and their linear graph representation to 10th grade students. The instruction is proposed in the context of road safety and has been evaluated with a multiple choice test made mainly of items taken from the Test of Understanding of Kinematics Graphs (TUG-K) proposed by Beichner (1994). Results from the first year of implementation show a good level of achievement in the conceptual learning of linear kinematics variables and their graphical representation, even in comparison with more advanced students of this and other institutions. The student opinion at the end of the course is positive about the methodology and the context used.
