Abstract

In the present work, we argue about the pertinence of Epistemology in the training of Physics teachers, Physics researchers and Physics Education researchers. We have also analysed different experiences that we have carried out during the last twenty years, about the insertion of Epistemology topics in the training of Physics teachers and researchers. These experiences were developed principally in four contexts:

-  A pre-graduate course about «Elements of Epistemology and Science History«, obligatory course in the Bachillerato Universitario y Licenciatura en Física curriculum of the Universidad Nacional de Tucumán (UNT), Argentina.

-  Different actualisations, training and post graduate courses offered to Physics teachers in different educative levels and orientations, in which the epistemology dimension is integrated functionally to the treatment of the educative contents and/or to the specific disciplinary contents.

-  Postgraduate Courses of «Epistemology of the Physics» and «Epistemology impact of Contemporary Physics» (subjects in the Maestría en Educación en Ciencias- Physics orientation-, a degree of the UNT).

-  A Postgraduate Course about «Learning models that fundament the Factual Sciences teaching» a Master course in Sciences Education - Physics orientation - master of UNT.
