El enlace químico: una conceptualización poco comprendida
Abstract
This study describes the ideas about chemical bond of a group of students about to enter university studies and another already at university. The results show different ideas with respect to processes where similar or different atoms group, the possibility of a chemical bond being a spontaneous process, the structure of substances bonding by ionic or covalent bond, and the cause of ionic bond. The study also highlights the poor coherency shown when students use an idea in a certain context but not in another similar to the first. The research finds that the conceptions of university and pre-university students coincide in most cases.
