Significado de la media en los libros de texto de Secundaria
Abstract
In this article, we present a survey on the meaning of mean in a sample of 22 books of Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO). We analyse the problems proposed, calculus algorithms, definitions, properties, representations and arguments. We conclude the variety of meanings presented in the books for one concept, as well as the absence of some elements that would make it more meaningful for students.Keywords
