Reflection in secondary science teachers. Study of cases
Abstract
The article that we describe here is a case study of two secondary science teachers about action-oriented reflection and its influence on professional development. The framework of the study is a collaborative action research program designed to provide the essential structure for her professional development. The results showed that teachers were in the process of turning their reflection more complex. It was also found that they had obstacles in their explicit theories, which constitute hard cores that impede or make difficult the complexity of the reflection and their professional development. Keywords
