Utilización de experimentos grabados en vídeo en la enseñanza de la microbiologia

Resumen

This paper describes individualized television instruction involving active Univesity students participation with computer assisted questionary. The experiments on microbial growth and genetics were videotaped. Students collected data directly from the television screen. Student accuracy was found to be excellent. Students found these videotaped experiments with computer assisted questionary an adequate substitute for the laboratory sessions. Videotaped experiments with computer assisted learning, which involve the students directly, are one option to take into account when planning future learning programmes. These have the advantage or providing the student with an experience that tnigth otherwise be too time consuming, expensive, dangerous or complicated to be performed in a traditional laboratory.
