Una propuesta de tarea formativa sobre la magnitud de las fracciones
Resumen
El estudio presenta la implementación de una tarea sobre la magnitud de las fracciones, aspecto clave para entender los números fraccionarios. La implementación se realizó en un encuentro de formación continua en una universidad española, con profesorado que enseña matemáticas a niños de 6 a 16 años, con una tarea diseñada como experiencia innovadora basada en el modelo del conocimiento especializado del profesor de matemáticas. Los resultados muestran dificultades en la estimación, comparación y representación de operaciones con fracciones. Asimismo, la implementación de la tarea favoreció la ampliación de las discusiones y el análisis del tema, lo que indica su potencial para la innovación en la formación docente. El estudio confirma la importancia de la magnitud de las fracciones en la formación docente y cómo su comprensión puede mejorar el entendimiento de los números fraccionarios.
